Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with shipping processes, including all software operations.
- Receive inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Adhere to best practices for screening suspicious mail/parcels.
- Coordinate receiving and internal deliveries of mail & packages across campus.
- Ensure all company mail is billed to proper departments.
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments on their mailing/shipping needs.
- Order supplies and maintain proper inventory levels.
- Maintain a highly organized and customer friendly loading dock, storage space, office.
- Assist with campus storage and organization including other departments outside of Operations.
- Assist with onsite coverage of events as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related field.
- College degree preferred
- Valid driver license.
- Experience driving a box truck/large van.
- Computer knowledge and working knowledge of mail systems such as FedEx, UPS, US Postal Service, SMART, and preparing freight documents/commercial invoices/customs documents.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience required.
- Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail are a must.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate projects from implementation through completion
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift 50lbs to perform job effectively, stand for long periods of time and walk up and down stairs
- Work schedule must be flexible – evenings and weekends required as needed.
- Must be able to work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
- Anticipated shift is 8am-4:30pm

COMPENSATION
- The role has an anticipated rate for this role is between $19.00 - $22.00 per hour . Salary will be based on the level role offered in accordance with candidate’s experience, qualifications and internal team equity.
