Summary
This role protects the property and assets of the Buffalo Bills, LLC & Bills Stadium and Events Company, LLC.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Protect the property and assets of the Buffalo Bills, LLC & Bills Stadium and Events Company, LLC.
- Secure 200+ acre campus through various methods including mobile patrols and video surveillance.
- Greet, monitor and control movements of visitors, employees, and contractors.
- Prevent trespassing, loitering, theft, and property damage.
- Monitor alarm systems.
- Use Genetec Security Desk for the following:
- Assist with campus credentialing; door scheduling; keyless entry, video monitoring and review
- Assist with event/gameday activities as needed.
- Operate and maintain company vehicles.
- Conduct searches of vehicles and contents including deliveries.
- Conduct searches and screening of individuals.
- Write detailed reports and log entries.
- Screen mail and packages.
- Respond to complaints, incidents, and alarms.
- Conduct or assist in investigations as directed by a Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Must be a duly registered Security Guard by the State of New York.
- Have a valid New York State Driver License.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience preferred.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good personal hygiene.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and complete tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Possess good oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient knowledge and use of Windows Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc…).
- Ability to communicate via two-way radio, telephone, and cell phone.
- Ability to work a varied schedule. Including Overnights, Weekends, and Holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk long distances, climb stairs, and stand for 6 hours or more.
- Ability to be outdoors in all weather conditions for 6 hours or more.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination necessary for tasks such as wrist banding, ticket scanning, etc.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-noise environment
- Ability to verbally communicate with fans, staff, and partners.
- Ability to navigate large venue spaces
Compensation:
- The role is non-exempt and the anticipated hourly rate is $19.00 an hour. Compensation will be based on the level role offered in accordance with candidate’s experience, qualifications and internal team equity.
