POSITION SUMMARY

The Youth Football and Programs Seasonal Associate is responsible for supporting the Buffalo Bills Youth Program outreach efforts with a focus on youth and high school football, as well as youth health and wellness initiatives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the tracking of all Buffalo Bills youth football and Play 60 donations of football equipment and Bills merchandise into the community
  • Assist with the management of a database of all youth and high school tackle football leagues & organizations as well as youth and high school flag football leagues & organizations throughout the region
  • Support the departmental efforts throughout Buffalo Bills Training Camp
  • Assist with the development of tackle and flag football outreach in Southern, Ontario (Canada)
  • Support the implementation of the Buffalo Bills Coach of the Week programs for varsity tackle and high school girls flag football and the Don Shula Coach of the Year award
  • Help coordinate all Play Football activations, including but not limited to preseason and regular season game initiatives (halftime scrimmages, pre-game ceremonies, complimentary ticket distributions)
  • Aid with the development of the Bills Play 60 initiative throughout the school year
  • Provide assistance in the execution of all Bills Play 60 and Youth Football events and initiatives including youth flag football, high school and middle school girls flag football, Unified flag football, youth tackle football and high school tackle football
  • Support all Bills Marketing Department efforts including game presentation, event administration, and all Bills/NFL Related Programs
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration, Marketing or a related field is required.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must demonstrate a positive-minded personality and be able to interact professionally with all members of department, media, football players and staff.
  • Ability to react and respond to immediate needs while managing day to day activities.
  • Must be collaborative with a strong desire and ability to learn.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized with strong time management skills.
  • Candidate should have a good working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and a willingness to learn other applicable computer software.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must be able to list up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time during inclement weather
  • Candidates must be able to work up to 40 hours per week; including evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
  • Must have reliable transportation. Individual will be required to travel to events, programs and meetings throughout the Western New York regional market as well as Southern Ontario, Canada

     

COMPENSATION

  • The salary for this position is $17.50/hour.  The expected duration is May 2026 - April 2027
