SUMMARY

The Buffalo Bills are looking for a Seasonal Photography Associate to join the photography staff for the 2026 - 2027 NFL season. This job entails producing high quality content on tight deadlines for home games, practices, studio campaigns, community events, and business development objectives as well as other relevant internal requests. This part-time, seasonal position is an onsite role in Orchard Park, New York from early May 2026 until April 2027.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create high-end still photography for the Buffalo Bills.
• Assist in photo asset management process including curation and maintenance of PhotoShelter and physical archive.
• Creatively handle studio portraits, on-location events, concerts, press conferences, food, and venue photography.
• Produce compelling content in high-pressure, deadline situations.
• Provide production assistance to all Bills Marketing staff as needed.
• Handle photography equipment with care and ensure proper maintenance.
• Represent the Buffalo Bills in a professional manner.
• Other related duties as requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate is at least 18 years of age.
• Must submit a digital portfolio to be considered.
• A minimum of 1 year working for a professional team or university athletics department.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience recommended.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, PhotoMechanic, Capture One, and Microsoft.
• Working knowledge of Sony Alpha cameras and Profoto Lights.
• Enthusiastic collaborator with a team-first mentality.
• Willing and able to think big and take risks.
• Proficient knowledge of professional camera and lighting equipment as well as industry trends across all major brands.
• Up to date on current social media trends, web content, digital advertising tactics and strategies.
• An excellent written and verbal communicator.
• Multi-tasker that is comfortable in an environment of ambiguity, where decisions need to be made quickly.
• Self-starter that can work independently and show initiative to solve problems in new ways.
• Strong attention to detail.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• This job operates both in an office setting and in the field. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Live event coverage consists of being around loud stadium noise as well as walking through crowds of fans.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

 While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, run, reach, stop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision.

• Ability to operate, transport and manipulate camera equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions for prolonged periods of time, including severe cold and snow.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate camera equipment.
• Remaining in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
• Working in outdoor elements that include high temperatures, low temperatures, wind, rain, and snow
• Working in a noisy environment
• Movements that include bending, kneeling, squatting, throwing, pushing, pulling

POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work all Buffalo Bills games, home and away.

TRAVEL:

• Intermittent travel will be expected in this role.

The salary for this position is $17.50/hour.  The expected duration is May 2026 – April 2027
