COMPANY BACKGROUND

Founded in 1959, the Buffalo Bills are one of the most storied franchises in the National Football League (NFL). The Bills have won the AFC East division title the last five years, as well as won two American Football League (AFL) Championships (1964-1965), and an NFL record four straight AFC Championships (1990-1993) that included four trips to the Super Bowl. Located in Orchard Park, New York, the Bills are proud to be a member of the Western New York Community for more than 55 years.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager of Partnership Solutions will be responsible for advancing data-driven decision-making within the Buffalo Bills Corporate Partnerships (CP) department, focusing on increasing revenue via category and asset optimization, tool / vendor selection and implementation, consumer research and insights, performance evaluation and reporting, and improving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience leveraging data within a sports revenue function, with a focus on strategy, research, and consumer insights/and or analytics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Corporate Partnership-related strategic initiatives, including category and asset valuation analyses, prospect identification, consumer and brand research, rate card benchmarking, proposal and presentation creation, and performance tracking and reporting
  • Participate and help organize brainstorming sessions to better align Bills’ organizational goals, assets, and values with prospective partners’ objectives
  • Assess current Corporate Partnership vendor stack and recommend appropriate tools / technologies to enhance the department’s data capabilities, usage, and adoption
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships team to create compelling, data-driven platforms and proposals that align with current and prospective partners’ business goals
  • Oversee usage and configuration of the CRM Sponsorship module including proposal and deal sheet creation and evaluation, sales pipeline and activity tracking, and inventory and rate card management
  • Direct partner measurement and recap process including midseason and end of season reporting and insights
  • Contribute to Corporate Partnership-specific, executive-level dashboards to monitor and communicate Corporate Partnership KPIs
  • Explore and stay informed on industry best practices across sports teams, brand advertising, and other relevant industry trades to identify innovative strategies and opportunities for partnership growth
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics) or equivalent years of additional experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in the sports analytics and/or corporate partnerships space
  • Proven success in transforming raw data into actionable insights, communicating findings to stakeholders, and driving value across revenue functions
  • Deep knowledge of the Sponsorship-related, third-party vendor landscape including CRM systems and sponsorship valuation, pitch-deck creation, and activation management tools
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI); experience developing revenue-centric dashboard suites centered on clarity, accuracy, and accessibility
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrated experience in making data insights accessible to diverse audiences via creative visualization and storytelling
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact collaboratively and efficiently with all levels of an organization 
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed as well as the ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed
  • Able to remain in a stationary position for at least 50% of the time and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
  • Able to lift or move items or boxes weighing up to 20lbs across the office or stadium and occasionally move about inside the office and/or stadium to access office machinery, meeting spaces and perform other duties as assigned

  • Takes ownership and accountability; identifies process improvements to make the Bills more efficient and effective and takes action
