The Journeyman Electrician/ General Maintenance position will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the stadium and other areas as needed. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Troubleshoot and repair problems in electrical wiring that occur in a commercial setting.
• Review and perform maintenance on electrical components of the magnetometers
• Rework electrical to accommodate renovations as needed
• Review and repair as needed all campus lighting
• High voltage experience preferred but not required
• Independently run tests, isolate problems, replace faulty section of wiring, lay conduit and perform other tasks as necessary.
• Work closely with all maintenance staff to assist in the preventative maintenance of the building systems.
• Work with other maintenance staff in daily general maintenance of the facility.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

•  Must have a Journeyman Electrician certificate or higher.
• General Carpentry skills are a plus.
• Valid driver license.
• Aerial lift experience is required.
• Fork Lift/ Bobcat experience is a plus.
• College degree preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs to perform job effectively.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coordinate projects from implementation through completion.
• Work schedule must be flexible – evenings and weekends required as needed based on schedule and other events. On call as required.
• Experience in a similar field is required
• Must be able to work in a collaborative and team oriented environment.

Salary range: $50,950 tp $70,056.  Actual salary will be determined based on factors such as candidate experience, qualifications, skill set, and internal equity.
