Summary
The Buffalo Bills seek a strategic Director of Media Sales to drive revenue growth through the Buffalo Bills Radio Network with regional, national, and international brands and agencies. This role will identify, pitch, and secure integrated media opportunities and support expansion into cross-border markets, in alignment with the Bills’ brand and business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic sales plan to grow and monetize the Buffalo Bills Radio Network (including affiliate and advertiser revenue).
- Identify, qualify, and maintain a prioritized pipeline and target list of advertisers and agencies; consistently generate new leads to support revenue goals.
- Develop and grow relationships with regional and national agencies to drive repeat media buys and long-term partner investment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Network affiliates across the full footprint; serve as a key point of contact to support affiliate engagement and success.
- Support growth of the Network’s footprint, including cross-border markets, through advertiser, agency, and media partner development.
- Prospect, pitch, and open new partner agreements for media and integrated sponsorships in support of individual and department revenue goals.
- Use audience and performance data to quantify network impact and ROI for partners and inform packaging and pricing strategies.
- Partner with Corporate Partnerships leadership to ensure media is effectively incorporated into sponsorship pitches, renewals, and upsells across teammates.
- Collaborate with Partnership Marketing team to ensure delivery and fulfillment of partner deliverables.
- Provide weekly reporting of sales performance, including pipeline generation, account status, forecasted revenue, quota attainment, and key activities/interactions.
- Utilize the CRM (KORE) platform to maintain accurate records, account plans, contact history, and forecasting notes.
- Represent the organization at games and events to host and entertain prospects and partners, as needed.
- Stay current on sports media trends and proactively develop innovative, sponsor-ready solutions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the success of the Corporate Partnerships team.
- Travel as required (up to 15%).
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of quota-carrying experience in media sales, sponsorship sales, or partnership sales.
- Proven ability to develop, sell, and renew integrated media packages.
- Experience building sales plans and delivering presentations/proposals; strong contract negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated pipeline management, forecasting, and sales performance reporting.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (KORE preferred) and commitment to accurate, timely data entry.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by games and events.
- Collaborative team player with a willingness to support and elevate colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling sports media and/or audio/radio network sponsorships.
- Agency-facing sales experience that drives repeat or annual buys.
- Experience supporting growth in cross-border or international markets.
- Familiarity with audience measurement and ROI storytelling (e.g., ratings/reach/engagement).

COMPENSATION:
- The salary range for this role will be between $115,000 - $155,000 plus variable pay. Salary will be based on the level role offered in accordance with candidate’s experience, qualifications and internal team equity.
