Job Summary:

The Operations Lead is responsible for the proper execution of project tasks defined by the Operations Manager. This position will have a hands-on, in-the-field role in various tasks related to asset tracking, asset repairs, quality control, facility and asset maintenance, event set-up and breakdown, and other related projects. The Operations Lead will work with a team of part-time Operations Crew Members scheduled to execute tasks in a timely manner. During events, the Operations Lead will support various operations including set-up, event onsite support across departments, event breakdown, and other incoming operational requests.

Primary Job Duties:

Oversees and executes specific tasks with the support of Operations Crew Members to ensure task completion according to guidelines established by the Operations Manager.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at one time.
Ability to overcome obstacles with creative solutions.
Ability to provide direct and clear instructions to part-time team members.
Performs quality control on project tasks maintaining the standards established by the Operations Manager.
Supports Operations Teams during event hours of operation to complete any incoming requests.
Creates an inviting, welcoming, and positive atmosphere when interfacing with patrons.
Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience managing teams is required.
At least 2 years of event operations experience are required.
Must have a driver’s license.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to communicate effectively, provide clear direction and instructions to team members, and follow project parameters established by the Operations Manager.
Must be comfortable operating heavy equipment.
Must be able to adapt to fast-paced environments.
Must be able to maintain a positive attitude under time constraints.
Must possess a good work ethic and attention to detail.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must comply with proper safety policies and procedures established by Insignia Event Services, LLC.
Available to work on event days including weekends & holidays.
