Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Director of Digital Content, the Social Media Producer will be focused on ideating, developing, and creating short form, snackable content for the Arizona Cardinals’ social media platforms. This position will also take direction on large-scale production projects from the Director of Video Production.

Primary Job Duties:
  • Strategize and execute engaging video content for platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Assist the Social Media team with the posting and management of the Arizona Cardinals’ Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat and other future accounts.
  • Participate in weekly Digital Department meetings, assisting with requests and questions about social media content.
  • Work with the Social Media Specialist on the maintenance and organization of the Arizona Cardinals Content Calendar.
  • Shoot and edit short form content captured at practice, games, community events, and other Arizona Cardinals initiatives.
  • Develop new ideas for sponsored content featured on the Arizona Cardinals’ social media platforms that provides the most value and exposure for partners, and new lines of revenue for the organization
  • Provide assistance with idea generation, content creation, planning and scheduling for all Arizona Cardinals’ social media platforms.
  • Edit and post highlights and other video assets provided from our content team and the LCC Program with the NFL on game day.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Community Relations, and Content departments, as well as the Team Photographer and Graphic Designer.
  • Take assignments from the club’s Social Media Specialist, and execute videography style and standards consistent with the team’s overall production design established by the Director of Video Production.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Digital Content.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Strong experience in video production, shooting, editing, and motion graphics required
  • Experience in social media management and posting is preferred
  • Experience with DSLR, Mirrorless, Shoulder-mounted cameras needed
  • Knowledge of Sony A7iii, Canon C100 & Arri Amira preferred
  • Strong knowledge of social media channels and latest trends
  • Working knowledge of three-point lighting for interview set ups a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and other departments
  • Flexible to work nights, holidays and weekends
  • Graphic design or photography experience is a plus

Education: A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, social media, video production, photography or related field (or equivalent experience).

Position Information:
This position is within the Digital Content team with a strong focus on content. A proactive problem solver, possessing a strong work ethic and an ability to work all Arizona Cardinals games, irregular schedules, weekend, early morning, late night and holiday work assignments are the norm. This individual must have a clear vision for implementing Cardinals brand pillars into engaging content for fans. Most importantly, the role requires the ability to be a strong visual storyteller
