Job Summary:

The Director, Analytics and Data Strategy is responsible for the development, implementation and management of our sales and marketing systems and data infrastructure. This candidate will lead the design and execution of sales and marketing technologies, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders and related business objectives. This role is responsible for developing strategies to aggregate customer data and effectively deploy sales and marketing campaigns to cultivate customer engagement. This individual will oversee two CRM Analysts and evaluate the opportunity to invest additional resources in building out this function. We are looking for someone who is not only a strategic thinker and an adept problem-solver, but also a leader that exemplifies our core values and behaviors, understands the importance of team cohesion and can maintain and enhance the existing positive team dynamics within the team and stakeholders from other departments.

 

Primary Job Duties:

The Director, Analytics and Data Strategy will have the daily responsibilities, without limitation, to include the following: 

  • Responsible for developing and driving short and long-term data strategies for the Marketing organization to improve the integrity and availability of data for marketing consumption and managing marketing-based requirements for data infrastructure needs.
  • Manage every aspect of the Cardinal's Salesforce and marketing architecture and data infrastructure, developing and iterating on a roadmap, and ensuring implemented automations scale within our environment.
  • Leverage data analytics to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and trends, and use this information to inform strategic decisions.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing departments to define and measure the most important KPIs for the marketing brand, campaigns, and distribution channels.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive CRM strategy aligned with the enterprise's business goals and customer needs. Developing innovative solutions using the most advanced Salesforce development techniques.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage CRM systems and tools that support data collection, analysis, segmentation, and personalization efforts. Manage the process of evaluating, communicating, testing, resolving issues and deploying Salesforce platform upgrades/releases as needed.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth. Gather reporting requirements and translate them into Salesforce reports and Power BI dashboards.
  • Nurture relationship with NFL data team to ensure the Arizona Cardinals adopting best practices in data collection, data management and customer outreach.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on sales and marketing initiatives, performance, and outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor junior CRM Analysts.
  • Provide recommendations to the Ticket Sales leadership team on how best to leverage our CRM to execute on their strategic vision.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: 8-10+ years of experience in Data and/or Analytics with 5+ years of experience leading a technical team and presenting to and working with executive leadership.
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce CRM/CPQ, KORE Software).
  • Experience with Seat Geek SRO or other Sports Ticketing platform.
  • Good working grasp in SQL.
  • Experience with Eloqua Marketing Cloud or similar marketing tools.
  • Experience in developing and managing modern analytics workflows, with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, manage laterally and upwards, all with a professional and courteous attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, consultants, and vendors.
  • Excellent business communication skills; ability to provide instruction to audiences of varying technical abilities.
  • Proficiency with Excel (complex spreadsheet models, run pivots, v-lookups, etc.).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (preferably Power BI).
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team.
  • Strong work ethic and drive to improve.
