Job Summary:

The Arizona Cardinals Coordinator, Social Media will be a part of a team that helps define the Cardinals brand and articulates its voice.  We are seeking a candidate with the passion to create and engage fans of all ages through social media. Candidates should have a strong creative process and foresight to envision and execute a project from start to finish.  This position will report to the Director, Social Media and Emerging Platforms.

 

Primary Job Duties:

The Coordinator, Social Media will have the daily responsibilities including (but not limited to) the following:

  • Assist in implementing the overall social media strategy of the organization, while monitoring content and user engagement for content optimization.
  • Produce and manage content for the Arizona Cardinals social media channels.
  • Work closely with the football staff to create football centric copy and content.
  • Coordinate with the digital and social teams to create visual content.
  • Create original content to drive revenue opportunities for business development.
  • Ideate unique projects with a social focus.
  • Track and analyze emerging social media trends and platforms.
  • On gameday, coordinate with NFL’s LCC program, capture video from field-level and assist in other social related duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing, business or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Minimum one year of professional experience in digital/social content and marketing strategy and publication.
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Expert knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube
  • Reliability, communication, strong collaboration and organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
  • Flexible to work nights, holidays and weekends.
  • Strong background working in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Basic knowledge of football is required and a passion to continue to learn the game expected to fulfill several responsibilities.
  • Experience working for a major sports brand is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
