Position: Coordinator, Human Resources Onboarding and Recruiting – Full Time/Non-Exempt

Department: People Operations

Reports to: Manager, People Operations

Location: Arizona Cardinals (Tempe, AZ)

Format: In-person

Job Summary:

The Coordinator, Human Resources Onboarding and Recruiting is a dynamic role that plays a key role in supporting the daily functions of the People team. This position serves as a cross-functional partner to teams across the organization, delivering high-quality service and operational excellence.

 

Primary Job Duties:

The Coordinator, Human Resources Onboarding and Recruiting with this assignment will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, to the following: 

  • Manage assigned job requisitions, including intake meetings, job postings, sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews
  • Prepare candidate comparison summaries and ensure timely communication throughout the hiring process
  • Support full-time, part-time, seasonal, and event-based hiring needs
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and new hires
  • Ensure a smooth, professional, and engaging recruitment and onboarding experience
  • Coordinate campus recruitment and outreach initiatives in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Manager, including attending on site job fairs
  • Partner with the Manager, People Operations to support onboarding activities such as offer letters, background checks, I-9s, E-Verify, new hire equipment requests and setup, orientation, and training
  • Maintain and track employee training completion in Brainshark (LMS) including the follow up with employees and managers as needed
  • Support the performance review process in Culture Amp, including tracking and follow-up
  • Assist with ongoing HR initiatives, audits, system implementations, and process improvement
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or other related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of human resources or administrative support experience preferred
  • PHR or SHRM-CP Preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment that requires strong project management and decision-making capabilities and flexibility 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Power Point, Word, Excel), Canva, HRIS systems and ATS/CRM Systems preferred
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and sensitivity to all HR Related matters and information
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being able to be collaborative and team-oriented
  • Can communicate effectively with all individuals across the organization
  • Valid Drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Accuracy and attention to detail required
  • Ability to lift 20-30 lbs
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; hours may vary depending on business needs
  • Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check
