Position: Associate, Gameday Athletic Training – Part Time/Temporary/Non-Exempt

Department: Football Operations - Athletic Training

Reports to: Assistant Athletic Trainer

Location: State Farm Stadium (Glendale, AZ)

Format: In-person 

Duration: This is a temporary role from September 2025 to February 2026

Job Summary:

The Arizona Cardinals Gameday Athletic Training Associate is sponsored by the Athletic Training Department located at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ. This position provides an exceptional opportunity for committed, hardworking, and dedicated individuals that are seeking to gain a future career in Athletic Training, including first-hand experience in a National Football League (NFL) environment. The Gameday Athletic Training Associate will assist in all aspects of the gameday operations for the Athletic Training Department.

 

Primary Job Duties:

The Gameday Athletic Training Associate role will have the daily responsibilities including, without limitation, to the following:

  • Assisting in setting up ATR for gameday.
  • Prepping sideline equipment for games.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitized Athletic Training Room.
  • Set-up and breakdown of all Athletic Training supplies on sideline. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: Enrolled in a CAATE accredited Athletic Training Program strongly preferred
  • Experience: Experience setting up sideline athletic training equipment for collegiate or professional level sports
  • Skilled at interacting and working effectively with diversity of personalities
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift to 30+ pounds on a regular basis
  • Proven ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and sensitivity working around professional athletes in their work environment and confidential information.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; hours will vary depending on business needs
  • Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check
