Summary:
The Vice President, Ticket Sales is responsible for providing the overall leadership, management and strategic direction for the Ticket Sales Department while maximizing revenue, efficiency, and profitability for the department. 

The Ticket Sales Department consists of the following areas;  Season Ticket Sales, Premium and Suite Sales, Group Sales, and Ticket Office Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong leadership, recruitment, management, supervision and motivation to full time employees of the ticket sales  and operations departments through the use of positive coaching,  evaluation, training and situational practices.
  • Evaluate sales strategies and development of innovative opportunities for the Ticket Sales Department in an effort to exceed all revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute a short and long term Ticket Sales & Service business plan.
  • Manage and maintain the revenue and expense budgets for Ticket Sales.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly results of ticket staff to in revenue and hustle to measure productivity and results.
  • Maximize revenue by developing, managing and maintaining all synergistic relationships as it relates to Ticket Sales programs that are critical to the development of revenue
  • Monitor and develop pricing strategies for all ticket related products.
  • Create a world class sales culture  and collaborative team environment for personal accountability, professionalism and personal achievement within a positive team-first atmosphere. 
  • Serve as a key member of the Leadership Team.
  • Other duties as assigned by Team President 

Qualifications: 
  • Proven strategic leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum three years of professional team and/or sports ticket sales leadership experience preferred. 
  • Minimum of five  years related sales experience in sports. 
  • Thorough knowledge of leadership and business principles related to strategic planning, operations, reporting, budgeting, marketing, employee relations and staffing is required.
  • Ability to motivate others to reach and surpass financial and production goals.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be creative, well-organized, possess a strong work ethic, desire to excel and willingness to learn.
  • Ability and willingness to work extended hours, including, nights, weekends and holidays, as needed, to achieve personal and department goals.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and Salesforce CRM is a plus 
  • Possess an Entrepreneurial mind set
