Facility Operations/Event Staff: Game Day/Event Staff

Logistics Team Members are responsible for setting up, supporting and striking all events at Levi’s Stadium. These events can range from 15-person board meetings to 300 person banquets to attendance of 70,000 for football games.
Logistics:
- Safely and securely moves furniture to suit the needs of each event.
- Sets up tables, linens, chairs and stages per special event layouts.
- Establishes a secure perimeter by setting up metal detectors, barricades and ticket scanners.
- Assists in client and vendor load-in for special events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Street Closure/Opening:
- Interacts with pedestrian and vehicular traffic to provide information regarding closed roads, updated travel routes and information regarding stadium events.
- Operates golf carts, gas vehicles and/or forklifts (if certified) in order to deliver, stage and/or deploy items such as tables, chairs, signage, barricades and other safety items.
- Executes layouts for pedestrian safety, traffic control, passenger queuing for VTA light rail as well as a hardened security perimeter.
- Aids in the safe and secure direction of VTA trains at pedestrian intersections.
- Abides by all necessary safety precautions for working at night, in low visibility and/or operating vehicles in city streets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Warehouse Staff:
- Manifests, delivers, and logs beverage distribution to all internal departments.
- Loads and unloads freight and passenger vehicles, transport packages to/from warehouse and log all items received and distributed.
- Demonstrates effective communication regarding the transfer of possession of packages.
- Performs general maintenance on furniture, pallet jacks and other items.
- Other duties as assigned.
Loading Dock Staff:
- Maintains the safety, organization and efficient operation of the loading dock and surrounding private parking lots before, during and after events.
- Receives, logs and delivers all incoming and outgoing packages.
- Inspects, maintains, and reports any issues with all forklifts.
- Interacts with internal stakeholders such as our janitorial, concessions, merchandise and restaurant contractors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Abilities and Skills:
- Ability to use focus on a speaker using verbal and non-verbal clues to understand their message, comprehend the information and respond thoughtfully.
- Ability to achieve planned objectives through completing relevant tasks and focus.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, while balancing and prioritizing multiple or competing tasks.
Education and Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent degree and 0-1 years’ experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess a California driver’s license and clean driving record.

The employee will be standing in an indoor/outdoor facility the majority of the time and may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
This position requires the ability to work extended hours and/or weekends.
