Overview

$18.50 / hour

 

This is a vacant position. Candidates must be a minimum age of 18 years. Joining our Canada’s Wonderland team means you’ll provide guests with exceptional service when they visit the park.

 

You’ll also… 

  • Building of props of various sizes for attractions
  • Set dressing all ten indoor attractions and various locations around the park
  • Painting sets
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Assist with the construction, assembly and general set up of attractions
  • Work with the technical team to set up props and theming throughout the Park
  • Following the event, assist with the tear down process of all attractions and theming
  • Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Education and/or work experience in theatre production an asset
  • Experience with scenic painting an asset
  • Willing to work in a hands on environment and take on a leadership role as assigned
  • Able to lift 40lbs above your head and work in confined and dark spaces
  • Able to multi-task and work efficiently
  • Able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License (G, G2)
  • Reliable source of transportation, outside of public transit (to accommodate for both early and late shifts and the lack of public transportation during set-up)
  • Must provide CSA approved steel toe footwear
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include; gloves, mask and/or face shield, non-slip shoes etc)
  • Availability that includes working on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
