Overview

The Information Systems Support Tech is responsible for supporting computers, telecommunications, point-of-sale, audiovisual, and hospitality systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to all IT calls and work orders and place help calls when needed to Corporate IT and vendors.
• Document technical issues and resolutions through the use of help desk software
• Complete daily audits of park systems. Require a full walk-through of the park at least two times per shift.
• Complete daily pre-opening checks of critical park systems, including point of sale, ticketing, Season Pass systems, and network health,     along with a detailed check of the park’s data center.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all department-owned software and hardware assets.
• Monitor and maintain sound and video equipment.
• Ensure 100% compliance with all Six Flags Information Systems policies and procedures.
• Assists in other areas of the IT Department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license preferred, but not required.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some College Preferred.
• Must be able to speak, understand, read, and write English.
• Must be capable of lifting and carrying 40 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of audio and video systems.
• Skills in data, telecommunications, and/or computer programming.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good organizational and project management skills; Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
