Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Following all safety policies and procedures
Providing good workmanship in a timely manner
Maintaining the facilities and surrounding areas in a clean and sanitary condition
Collecting trash and recycling materials and emptying dumpsters
Repairing and maintaining all types of dispensers, including paper products, soap, and feminine products
Shoveling snow and spreading ice melt
Pressure washing as needed, to include but not limited to ride parts, patios, buildings and complex vehicles
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age on the date of applying
Must be able to pass trade aptitude test
Valid Driver's License with the ability to operate a manual transmission
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have good communication skills and teamwork approach
Knowledge of equipment used relating to the utilities trade
Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision
Must be able to properly mix and use cleaning chemicals
Ability to conform to all working conditions
Job Demands:
Must be able to work flexible work shifts as required based on operational demands
Working environment includes indoor and outdoor work in a variety of weather and temperature conditions
Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to work at heights of up to 115 feet
This is a Union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
