The Retail Store Lead will oversee the operations of an assigned retail location, provide our guests with exceptional service, follow proper uniform standards, maintain the cleanliness of your work environment and gain knowledge of specific job duties.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Lead by example by actively engaging with guests in order to provide exceptional customer service to enhance their overall experience*
Provide exceptional guest service through the proper training of new and existing team members within your assigned store location*
Perform elevated responsibilities like guest returns, price overrides, and logging on or off point-of-sale systems, as well as performing cashier resets at the end of shifts *
Identify safety and maintenance-related issues and address these concerns to Area Coaches and full-time staff to ensure they are addressed*
Maintain store layout in accordance with Area Manager and provide feedback on the product assortment within the retail location by understanding the needs of our guests*
Assist in inventory management tasks including maintaining appearance standards to ensure location is cleaned and stocked. Ensure team members are accurately scanning to maintain inventory integrity
Fill in as a front-line team member in support of operational needs
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be at least 15 years of age or older on the date of applying
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven guest relations, problem-solving, task management skills, and organizational skills
Professional and effective communication skills
Must be friendly, upbeat, work well with other employees, and be able to interact with our guests
Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
Knowledge of Child Labor Laws is preferred
Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times
Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information
Job Demands:
Must be able to work at least four weekend shifts per month and 24 hours per week, with 3 days of closing availability Memorial Day through Labor Day, in compliance with Child Labor Laws
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment at locations both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather situations
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be available to work between 7am - Midnight in accordance with Child Labor Laws
Physical requirements include standing (75-100% of the shift), sitting, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 60 lbs., and finger dexterity
