Manager of Live Entertainment and Events
Hersheypark amusement park spans 121-acres, and welcomes guests to experience Hersheypark Happy all year long! As the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania, Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides including 15 coasters and 20+ kiddie rides, as well as a zoo, and an entire water park.
This position is responsible for the planning and execution of Entertainment Experiences. This includes, but is not limited to, the park's character program, partnerships with third-party entertainment companies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to plan and manage Hersheypark's seasonal events.

Job Functions:
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to produce entertainment content for the park's Music Box Theatre. This may include holding auditions and rehearsals to optimize allocated budgeted dollars. *
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to execute the park's character program. This may include holding auditions and rehearsals to optimize the use of allocated budget dollars. *
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to execute the park's seasonal events program. This may include holding auditions and rehearsals to optimize the use of allocated budget dollars. *
- Building and managing labor and expense budgets that directly impact the quality of all in-park entertainment. *
- Building and developing a high-functioning team that creates entertainment experiences that drive revenue and improve the guest experience. *
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree -
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 6 years of experience in lieu of education.
- Industry Experience - Amusement Park
- Minimum of 4 year(s) of experience.
- Minimum of 4 year(s) of supervisory experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- In accordance with Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Law, candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a report of criminal history from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services (Child Abuse), and Fingerprint-based federal criminal history submitted through the Pennsylvania State Police or its authorized agent (FBI), as a condition of continued employment.
