Hersheypark Beverage Attendant
Hersheypark amusement park spans 121-acres, and welcomes guests to experience Hersheypark Happy all year long! As the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania, Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides including 15 coasters and 20+ kiddie rides, as well as a zoo, and an entire water park.
As a trained and certified Concession Attendant, you will assist in a Food and Beverage capacity in a variety of locations where alcohol is sold. Primary responsibilities include safely and responsibly serving alcoholic beverages, operating registers, preparing and serving food, and keeping an organized and clean work location.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

Greet guests and take Food and Beverage orders within various Food & Beverage locations*

Safely serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with all legal regulations and company guidelines*

Accurately take food and drink orders from guests, follow proper register protocol, and provide exceptional service to each guest*

Ensure cleanliness of work locations by cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping, and mopping work areas*

Organize, store, and rotate stock and food items within assigned work locations*

Perform opening and closing procedures as directed by shift supervisors*

Complete mandatory food safety and temperature control logs as applicable*

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
Must be 18 years of age or older on the date of applying
-
Post Employment - Must be certified or pass an alcohol service class (RAMP Training – will be provided)

Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts and Food & Beverage guidelines

Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times

Must be friendly, upbeat, work well with other employees, and be able to interact with guests
Job Demands:

Must be available to work 4 shifts per week Memorial Day through Labor Day, and 1 shift a week in the off-season.

Physical requirements include the ability to stand for up to five hours at a time, walk, bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity, and the ability to push, pull, and reach above shoulder level, and lift up to twenty (20) pounds without assistance

Employees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather. Work is almost exclusively outdoors.

Must be able to withstand the temperatures of a kitchen/food stand environment

Must be comfortable with exposure to cleaning chemicals

Proper footwear (black, non-slip/skid sneakers) must be provided by the employee
