This position is responsible for the development and implementation of the beverage program throughout The Hotel Hershey as well as the management and administration of the beverage department staff including operation of the Iberian Lounge.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Provide direct supervision of daily shift operations for the Iberian Lounge and banquet bars, including training, coaching, scheduling, processing payroll, and performance management..
Promote the lounge, implement beverage menu and wine list planning, reevaluate standards, assist servers and bartenders on the floor during peak periods, and manage property liquor inventories and controls.
Forecast revenue, assist with budget, manage group billings, requisitions, inventories, liquor orders, and pricing menu items.*
Maintain positive employee and guest relations by anticipating needs and responding promptly to all requests.*
Enforce safety and sanitation according to SOPs and Department of Health guidelines.*
Communicate with the Food & Beverage Director to discuss beverage menus, lounge entertainment, service, marketing strategies, and guest comments/concerns.
Perform other duties as assigned and participate in Manager on Duty rotation.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Industry Experience - Food & Beverage, Hospitality/Tourism
Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
Must have a valid Drivers' License
Completion of high school or GED
Post-Employment - ServSafe Allergen, ServSafe Manager, and RAMP certifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must possess excellent written and oral communications skills
Ability to understand all menu items offered to provide an expert opinion in recommended pairings with wine, spirits, and mixology.
Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
Possess a strong knowledge of 4 and 5 star/diamond service standards as well as various styles of service.
Excellent leadership, motivational, and organizational skills.

Skilled in conveying information and working within strict deadlines.
