The Assistant Manager, Human Resources Operations (Entertainment Complex) will provide Human Resources support to Entertainment Complex management and employees in conjunction with the Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to ensure action on, and sustainability of Human Resources initiatives. This person will report to the Human Resources Director.

Job Functions (Items marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this position):

Serve as a point of contact and act as liaison between other functional areas of Human Resources and the Entertainment Complex operations for employees regarding human resources policy/procedure direction and counsel. Provide guidance to employees and direct them to appropriate personnel as needed.*

Conduct internal investigations for a variety of employee relations issues. Recommend solutions based on thorough fact gathering and analysis. Document findings and maintain required filings.*

Provide human resources policy/procedure direction to supervisors and managers, assisting to ensure HE&R is current and consistent in its practices and in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local legislation. Monitor consistent application of HE&R policies/procedures between departments and identify opportunities for communication, reinforcement, or revision.*

Provide advice and counsel to employees and managers with coaching, counseling, and career development in order to support the performance management process. Serve as operations liaison for technical support in annual performance review process and attendance database tracking.*

Partner with operations to process reasonable accommodations, including leading the interactive process with employees and following through with proper documentation.*

Partner with benefits administration in processing personal leaves of absence. Gather necessary paperwork and communicate needs and expectations with employees.*

Assist in the continuing employment process (return of eligible summer seasonal staff) for the Entertainment Complex operations.*

Produce reports from the HRIS system as needed.*

Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Industry Experience - Human Resources, Hospitality/Tourism

Bachelor’s degree - Business Administration, Human Resources, Other

Relevant work experience can be substituted for education - 6 years
