The Role and What You’ll Do:

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day execution of social media activities across all UFC accounts, creating timely, accurate, and relevant content for fight fans before, during, and after UFC events. This position manages the posting process, from concept to approval and manages the execution.

  • Manages creative requests and asset delivery for UFC social media and digital channels.
  • Works with multiple departments and stakeholders to create, copy-edit, and post social media content for UFC’s official pages on Facebook, Instagram, X, and Threads.
  • Edit video content that lives across UFC social platforms.
  • Provides on-site and remote coverage of UFC live events, using social media tools to produce content.
  • Maintains social media calendar and posting schedule to maximize impact of posts.
  • Use social media analytic tools to assist with reporting, track key KPIs, and identify trends/best practices.
  • Executes Community Management across all social platforms including tracking fan sentiment, identifying event purchasing issues; and managing the UFC social inboxes.
  • Provides support for the growth of emerging social media platforms.
  • Performs other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned. 

You Have These:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Two years of experience working with social media for a sports property preferred.
  • Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and After Effects proficiency preferred.
  • Demonstratable video editing for social platforms experience a plus.
  • Journalism background and MMA/UFC knowledge is preferred.
  • Social analytic tools experience a plus.
  • Microsoft Excel for creating, editing, and maintaining analytics reports.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in accordance with UFC’s live event schedule
  • Positive attitude and an ability to handle an intense schedule, fast-paced environment, and off-hours requests.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
