The Role and What You’ll Do:

The Digital Media Coordinator supports the growth and execution of UFC’s YouTube and other digital video platforms. This role assists with the day-to-day management of the company’s YouTube Channel and content. This position works closely with teams including, but not limited to, Website, Social Media, Partnerships, and Production. This is an opportunity to have your work exposed to millions of UFC fans around the globe. 

  • Uploads content to UFC’s YouTube, including scheduling, titling, metadata, and other related processes.
  • Designs thumbnails using analytic performance to influence creative decisions.
  • Resizes and edits existing videos to use across digital and social channels.
  • Contributes to UFC’s YouTube content strategy by analyzing insights and providing strategic recommendations based on findings to domestic and international teams.
  • Experiments with different strategies to improve viewership and channel subscriptions (A/B testing, thumbnail design, titling, descriptions, posting times, etc.)
  • Supports UFC’s live stream efforts by identifying exciting moments and syndicating those clips across Digital Media teams.
  • Assists in compiling performance reports for company executives.
  • Travel to events as required to assist with content capture
  • Other projects, tasks, and duties as assigned.

 

You Have These: 

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, Social Media or another related field, or equivalent work experience managing a successful YouTube or creator Social Media channel.
  • In-depth familiarity with YouTube including experience working with YouTube CMS and analytics.
  • Portfolio showing video and thumbnail examples.
  • Demonstratable experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop) or similar suite.
  • Experience using live clipping tools for social media use such as Grabyo, WSC or comparable tool.
  • Experience shooting with a DSLR or other video cameras
  • 2-3 years of experience working on YouTube, social media, or other relevant.
