Our operations team plays a critical role in ensuring every agreement moves seamlessly from signature to activation.
Position Summary
The Part-Time Sales & Marketing Representative will support the development, execution, and growth of revenue-generating partnerships for The Tech Way. This role will focus on sponsorship prospecting, NIL-related business opportunities, donor engagement initiatives, and marketing activation support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, outgoing, and motivated by relationship-building and sales.
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
● Identify and research prospective corporate partners.
● Build and maintain prospect databases.
● Conduct outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and networking events.
● Schedule meetings for partnership discussions.
● Assist in preparing sponsorship proposals and presentations.
● Track sales pipeline activity and update CRM systems.
● Support sponsorship renewal efforts and upsell opportunities.
● Research industry trends and competitive partnership programs.
Marketing & Activation Support
● Assist with execution of sponsor activations at athletic events.
● Coordinate sponsor deliverables and fulfillment.
● Help create marketing materials, presentations, and promotional campaigns.
● Support NIL-related marketing initiatives involving student-athletes.
● Capture content and success stories from sponsorship activations.
● Assist with social media and digital marketing efforts tied to partnerships.
Administrative & Event Support
● Help coordinate donor, sponsor, and alumni events.
● Assist with golf tournaments, fundraising events, and hospitality programs.
● Prepare meeting materials and follow-up communications.
● Track partnership assets and activation calendars.
● Support special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
● Current college student, recent graduate, or professional seeking part-time experience.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Interest in sports business, sales, marketing, or sponsorships.
● Comfortable making outbound sales calls and conducting prospecting.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and LinkedIn.
● Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
● Ability to work evenings and weekends for select athletic events.
Preferred Qualifications
● Previous sales, fundraising, or sponsorship experience.
● Familiarity with collegiate athletics and NIL.
● Experience using CRM platforms
