Position Overview: 
Hawaii Athletics and Playfly Aspire seek a positive, passionate, and competitive individual who is committed to leading a best-in-class ticket sales and service team. The Director, Sales and Service has the responsibility of generating revenue through outbound calls, managing staff, and overseeing ticket sales and service responsibilities. This leader will assist in the development of ticket sales & service strategies.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • When needed, recruit and hire sales and service team members with diversity of age, race and ethnicity, gender, experiences, thinking styles, perspectives etc. 
    • Train and supervise staff. 
    • Monitor, manage and evaluate staff performance on an ongoing basis; establish and communicate clear sales revenue and training goals, follow up with appropriate feedback and direction for development.  
    • Ensure adherence to all Company Policies, including an acute focus on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Discrimination and Harassment policies, engaging with Human Resources as appropriate.
  • Perform outbound calls and service inbound calls for the for all ticketed sports. Inventory available for sale across at this location include, but is not limited to season tickets, renewals, upgrades and add-ons, group tickets, partial/mini-plan ticket packages, and single-game tickets.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals while exceeding client expectations in value and customer service.
  • Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers within Ticketing/CRM database.
  • Work home games, performing various ticket sales and service duties as assigned and agreed upon with leadership.
  • Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, in-person appointments and networking events to sell season tickets, corporate, partial plans, and group ticket plans.
  • Execute outbound calls and face-to-fact appointments daily.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Leadership.
  • Develop and execute approved Annual Business and Sales Plan.
  • Serve as a member of the external operations team. 
  • Responsible for department revenue goals.
  • Develop, present and communicate sales and service strategies, procedures and processes. 
  • Assist with the creation, planning, communication, and implementation of special ticket plans, projects, promotions and programs.
  • Establish sales goals for Revenue Generation Associates in conjunction with SVP
  • Track and report daily, weekly and monthly sales figures and relevant accountability. 
  • Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications & Requirements:
 
  • At least three (3) years of sports ticket sales experience with a minimum of one (1) year of management experienced is desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. 
  • Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail-oriented.
  • Experience with ticketing software and CRM program preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills. Must be able to communicate equally well with executives, staff, and fans at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven problem-solving ability.
  • Professional image and demeanor at all times.
  • Proven ability to effectively coach and manage others.

  • Available to work Athletic events including home games and special events in evenings and on weekends.
 
Compensation: Competitive base salary with the opportunity to earn commission upon meeting or exceeding ticket sales goals.  Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, other voluntary health benefits and 401k with company match. Excellent paid time off program.
