Position Summary:

The Event Partnership Coordinator will manage and execute all partner responsibilities across a multitude of sports. They are responsible for activating the digital and event specific duties of each relationship. The Event Partnership Coordinator will grow and strengthen existing partnerships, as well as identify new partnership opportunities and activations. Responsibilities include execution of staffing and logistics, potential travel, partner management and all operational event-related tasks.

Position Responsibilities: 

Events:

  • Securing supporting staff and speakers for each event location as needed
  • Booking travel and handing any required logistics prior to events 
  • Creating itineraries and developing event run of show with each partner
  • Shipping and inventory tasks completed through Premier’s Warehouse
  • Conceptualizing event engagements and formulating partner specific strategies
  • Fulfilling any event-related contractual items from each partnership agreement
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting per partner on a continuous basis
  • Optimize partner performance for target audience experience, conversions, and lead capture
  • Work closely with marketing team to execute any brand initiatives at events and contractual obligations
  • Main point of contact for staff at events
  • Conduct pre-event briefing meetings and post-event recap sessions
  • Host weekly calls with event staff to overview upcoming events
  • Stay up to date on emerging digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices

Partnership Management:

  • Be held accountable to every aspect of the partnership
  • Host monthly and/or quarterly check-ins with partners as appropriate
  • Determine best integration with partner
  • Facilitate any NCSA activations at events
  • All event planning and management of partner events
  • Reporting on success of partner events/event follow up
  • Collaborate with NCSA’s business development team to identify new potential partners
  • Sports and events being managed are subject to increase and/or change as necessary


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • A minimum of 1-2 years in event planning, digital marketing or related roles  
  • Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and funnel analysis
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with B2B and B2C digital marketing strategies.
  • Handle confidential and high-level information with discretion and diplomacy
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) in a professional manner at all levels of the organization

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes more than 40 pounds
  • Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period
  • Must be able to move around events which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
  • Ability to travel 10-20% (may increase seasonally depending on partnership needs)
