Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate all game day production logistics at select championships and preliminary rounds including national anthems, player introductions, halftime entertainment, national championship postgame awards presentations, special effects, lighting and other entertainment enhancements.
- Identify and provide onsite management of control room personnel, DJ’s, emcees, public address announcers and other gameday volunteers.
- Manage all phases related to championships’ in-venue presentation, including vendor agreements, day-to-day communication, logistics, implementation, and feedback.
- Collaborate with the NCAA’s production company, Van Wagner, for video board content creation and development of public address announcer game scripts and run-of-show documents for all rounds of assigned championships as well as assist with the overall production elements for all 90 NCAA Championships.
- Collaborate with various external partners such as broadcast, equipment suppliers, coaches’ associations, national governing bodies, etc. to create a better, more impactful and enjoyable in-venue experience for both the student-athletes and fans.
- Explore new technology integrations to provide fan engaging experiences and the display of information and statistics.
- Cross-functional collaboration with colleagues to develop marketing and ticketing messages to promote attendance at events, to activate on-site opportunities for corporate partners, and to maintain consistent communication platforms and overarching messages about the NCAA and our championships to the fans.
- Manage assigned budgets based on priorities and areas of emphasis.
- Coordination with NCAA purchasing, risk management and general council departments to ensure national office standards are met for all contractual agreements.
- Review championship manuals, bid documents and guidelines to ensure a similar experience is provided across championships.

Job Requirements
- Education Required -High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferred.
- Two years’ (professional/full-time) experience in sports/event production and/or marketing required.
- Three to five years’ (professional/full-time) experience in sports/event production and/or marketing preferred.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse group of individuals.
- Self-motivated and dynamic team player preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications required.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Indesign preferred.
- Estimated Travel Required <30%
- This position will be based out of the national office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Current work environment is hybrid; 3 days in the office and 2 days are remote.
