Michigan Sports Properties is looking to add a high-impact team member who will focus on managing client relations specifically to its new relationship with the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan. This position will be an integral part of executing client strategy and asset execution for the University of Michigan.
In this role, you will support Michigan Sports Properties with Alumni Association deal activation for brand partners. The Partnership Solutions Coordinator will be asked to manage all inventory elements related to Alumni Association activation and provide proof of performance to brand partners. This role will report to the Manager for Partnership Services who leads the activation efforts of our LEARFIELD team embedded at Michigan and will work closely with the Director of Business Development to ensure consistent revenue growth. This role will also have key relationships with Alumni Association staff.
Responsibilities
- Serve as liaison between corporate partners, property staff, and Alumni Association staff where applicable
- Support activation of Alumni Association deals
- Oversee all inventory management tracking related to Alumni Association deals, including what has been proposed, sold and remains available, to include weekly reports and internal meeting updates
- Assist with Michigan Sports Properties, operations, including Alumni Association events, home football games and other home events
- Act as the Michigan Sports Properties representative in internal Learfield corporate Alumni Association discussions
- Complete other sales, fulfillment and operations responsibilities as assigned by the sports properties team and Manager for Partnership Services
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week including home games, select sporting events, select Alumni Association events, appearances and activations that occur outside of traditional work hours
- Will have dedicated in-office dates to match Michigan Sports Properties and Alumni Association needs
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent communication, problem solving, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to develop and maintain strong relationships across many demographics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sponsorship, college athletics and/or sports marketing
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- High level of initiative and continuous learning mindset
