Overview:

Learfield is conducting a search to identify a dynamic and strategic leader to oversee digital marketing services that today exist across multiple business lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our digital marketing agency, ensuring the development and execution of innovative and effective marketing strategies for our clients. This role requires a blend of creative thinking, strategic vision, and strong leadership skills to drive the agency's growth and deliver outstanding results.

*This person will sit in our Plano, TX headquarters until we relocate to Dallas, TX in November 2024

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a compelling vision and strategy for the marketing agency
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their objectives and ensuring the agency meets and exceeds expectations
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive agency growth and manage agency business development team
  • Collaborate with adjacent sales teams (e.g. Sponsorship sales team, Ticketing sales team) to identify opportunities for growing agency service revenue with existing accounts
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels
  • Develop and maintain a robust network of industry contacts to generate business leads
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to drive continuous improvement for Digital Agency as well as Learfield’s other digital capabilities
  • Develop and manage the agency’s budget, ensuring financial goals and profitability targets are met
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure the success of campaigns and overall agency performance
  • Ensures compliance with advertising regulations and industry standards
  • Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability within the agency team
  • Provide ongoing professional development opportunities for team members
  • Provide thought partnership to broader Digital & Technology leadership team, including the executives responsible for Learfield’s Data Strategy, Content Creation, Ticketing Technology and Website/App Publishing
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Marketing or related field
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a marketing or digital marketing agency
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Demonstrated experience with project management tools and methodologies
