Under the direction of the Associate A.D. of Brand Experience, the Assistant Director of Brand Experience is focused on initiatives that lead directly to the successful execution of three primary outcomes: generating revenue, increasing attendance at events, and successfully positioning/enhancing/protecting the UCF Athletics brand.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assists in the management of the overall Brand Experience unit within UCF, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations
  • Manages football related fan experience responsibilities, to include pregame Football Fan Fest, Tailgate Concert Series, and Spring Football Festival
  • Creates, implements, and executes innovative marketing strategies with a focus on the gameday experience for UCF sports as assigned.
  • Assists with all basketball activation, and special events throughout the year.
  • Manages day-to-day Knightro's Kids Club and other community outreach as assigned.
  • Collaborates with external team (#Content, Strategic Communications, ChargeOn Fund, Corporate Partnerships, Tickets, and Video Services) in generating greater awareness of the UCF brand and sport to enhance interest and attendance while maximizing overall revenue opportunities.
Minimum qualifications:
  • Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of appropriate experience.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 2+ years of progressive marketing experience with an emphasis on game day experience.
  • Graphic design, strong creativity, attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position may require work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time and occasional travel.
