Summary Of Job Duties
The Director of Videoboard Operations will be the lead point of contact for all matters relating to video production for the Broadcast Services department within athletics at the University of Arkansas to include both video board and overall video content for the broadcast services team. The director of videoboard operations will lead efforts to recruit and hire student staff. Develop and maintain standards of video development and review for a collaborative environment.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- At least three years in-stadium big screen video board management experience
- At least two years of team leadership and people management experience
- Experience with operational level videography skills in Electronic News Gathering (ENG) (field video camera, lighting, and related audio)
- Non-Linear editing experience to include Premiere platforms
- Graphic design and creation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience related to onboarding and coordinating student staff
- Evidence of creativity and innovation in developing projects and story ideas
- High level experience in content creation from inception to completion (intro video shoots, headshots)
- Experience with proposing and adhering to project budgets
- Experience with professional grade 4K cameras, creating and utilizing LUTs
- Experience with Daktronics Show Control Content Management Systems
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge and use of Adobe After Effects and knowledge of 3D programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stay current on equipment trends and needs for editor/producer staff
- Ability to clearly communicate project goals to all members of the production team
- Proven ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
