Summary Of Job Duties
Under the direction of the Head Coach, the Director of Operations plays a key role in managing the logistical and administrative aspects of the Razorback Gymnastics program. They will be a liaison between the gymnastics program and various units in the department. This position will be responsible for coordinating team logistics and events, overseeing travel arrangements and expense reports for the team, coaching staff and recruits, assisting in budget planning and management, and maintaining Teamworks, a communication and scheduling platform, for gymnastics. This position will also be involved in assisting with the management of home gymnastics meets. Director of Gymnastics Operations will work closely with coaches, current and former student-athletes, recruits, and other stakeholders to maintain and enhance the overall efficiency of the program’s operations. This position will also assist with official visits, unofficial visits, and summer camps.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty. as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- Experience with sport team travel coordination and expense reports
- At least one year of relevant sport team operations experience at the collegiate level
- Demonstrated working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with budget planning and management
- Experience with sport team operations, including scheduling and team travel, at the NCAA Division I level
- Knowledge and experience with NCAA Division I Gymnastics as a student-athlete, coach, or administrator
- Experience with Workday
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
- Knowledge of Southeastern Conference rules and regulations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in computer applications and sports management software
- Availability to work flexible hours, occasional evening and weekend hours required, especially during sports seasons and events and travel as necessary with team
