The Assistant Coach of women's Soccer will assist the head coach with organizing, developing, and implementing a nationally competitive NCAA Division I women’s soccer program. 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
  • Assisting with scouting, recruiting, coaching, practice and game scheduling. 
  • The administration of team budgets. 
  • Developing and maintaining effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni, media, and the general public. 
  •  Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, Big Ten and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes. 
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: Must have a minimum of five (5) years of coaching experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Must have knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. 
  • Candidate should have administrative and organizational experience as well as computer skills.
Preferences:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of coaching experience at the NCAA Division I college level. 
  • Demonstrated experience with video editing and developing a scouting report, i.e., Huddle, Sports Code, etc.
  • Experience with the coaching and technical training of field players, both individually and as a group.
  • Experience recruiting at the NCAA Division I level.
