Job Description
The Director of Booking is a senior member of the booking and scheduling staff for Columbus Arenas Sports & Entertainment (CASE). CASE manages two 20,000 seat arenas, The Jerome Schottenstein Center, home of Ohio State University’s Men’s and Women’s Basketball programs as well as Men’s Ice hockey and Nationwide Arena, home of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets. The position is also the primary contact for all facility usage requests and maintains and distributes the booking calendar to both internal and external clients as needed and resolves any calendar conflicts for the arenas. The Booking Director acts as liaison between the assigned event manager and clients/promoters producing events at CASE or CASE sponsored events at Business Advancement or Athletics facilities, including events sponsored by CASE at Ohio Stadium produced by an external promoter. Ensures that all booking systems, policies, and general communication with all parties involved are accurate, clear, and consistent. Other responsibilities include: Responsible for all event settlements regardless of who is physically settling individual events, assisting with flash reports, assists with event and revenue strategies, producing event proformas, and assisting in new event creation. Position will provide administrative support as well as project-based support for their direct supervisor. The ability to work flexible hours including: evenings, weekends, and holidays. Performs other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.

Required Qualifications
Considerable experience booking/presenting live entertainment required. Experience in event management, ticketing, performance contracts & riders, and show settlement procedures. Experience with student internship/work programs, and student programming desired. Negotiation experience required. Experience with computer systems/programs desired.

Additional Information:
The pay range for this position is $62,700.00 - $83,600.00 (min - mid). The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's education and experience.
