Stanford Game Presentation is responsible for in-game entertainment for 21 of Stanford’s varsity athletic teams, striving to provide the best experience possible for fans and student athletes.
The Game Presentation Graduate Intern will assist the Stanford Game Presentation team with all assets related to game day, enhancing experiences for all fans across various events during the 2026-2027 academic year. This position is designed for
individuals seeking to advance their career in the sports industry.
Job Duties
● Support the Game Presentation team with all aspects of game day operations, including pre-event preparation, game day execution, and other deliverables
● Serve as lead Game Presentation contact for select Stanford Olympic sports, executing game presentation activities for those programs
● Act as secondary contact to full time staff on select revenue generating sports
● Work laterally and cohesively across other Stanford Athletics departments/teams
● Attend weekly office hours and team meetings in addition to event coverage
○ Expectation of 2 days a week in office, totaling 10-15 hours weekly

Minimum Qualifications
● Ability to commit from July 2026 through May 2027, working 30-40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
● Attendance at a minimum of 5 out of 6 Stanford Football games
● Enrolled in accredited graduate program emphasizing sports management or business, with expected graduation in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
● Experience with event timing, run-of-show execution, and in-game entertainment flow
● Creative mindset with the ability to contribute ideas that enhance in-game atmosphere
● Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
● Positive, team-oriented attitude willing to collaborate across departments
● Able to lift up to 30 pounds to assist with event setup and breakdown
Preferred Qualifications
● Previous experience and/or strong interest in game presentation, show calling, and script creation for live events
● Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) with the ability to create engaging visual content
● Familiarity with Daktronics systems and in-venue videoboard operations, including Show Control and Content Studio
Compensation
● This position will be paid at an hourly rate for all hours worked, including office hours, trainings, team meetings, and Stanford Athletics event coverage
● Course credit is also available depending on enrolled graduate program
● Housing assistance is not available for this position
