Assistant Girls Lacrosse Coach (Varsity and/or JV)

Position Overview:
St. Thomas Aquinas High School is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Coach to support our Girls Varsity and/or Junior Varsity Lacrosse teams. This position runs from January through May and provides a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a high-performing athletic program rooted in faith and tradition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Coach in planning and leading practices, drills, and game strategies
- Provide guidance, encouragement, and mentorship to student-athletes
- Help manage team logistics, including equipment, field setup, and sideline support
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship among players
- Maintain open communication with athletes, coaches, and school staff
- Adhere to all school policies and FHSAA regulations
Qualifications:
- Varian experiences are considered, but a strong passion for the game is essential
- Must be reliable, consistent, flexible, and responsible
- Available for late afternoon and evening practices and games
- Must complete all required school and FHSAA clearances before working with student-athletes
Season Commitment:
- Season Duration: January – May
- Estimated Time: 10–15 hours per week, depending on schedule
