Olympic Performance Dietitian reports to the Director of Olympic Sports Performance Nutrition. Primary responsibilities include managing nutritional needs and nutritional programming for the student-athletes for Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball. Counsel athletes on all aspects of performance nutrition, evaluate lab values, develop menus, work with strength & conditioning program to maximize performance by student-athletes, perform some administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 4 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree and 2 years of directly related experience preferred.
Required Certification, Licensure: ServSafe certified. Licensed as a Registered Dietitian in the State of South Carolina, or have the ability to obtain licensure within 30 days of employment.
