The University of South Carolina Athletics Department is seeking a Business Office Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting office functions for the entire Athletics Business Office. Reporting to the Senior Associate AD/Business and Finance, will plan, coordinate and perform complex business and administrative activities associated with the fiscal management of the Athletics Department, budget exceeding $200 million. Will handle various business office administrative tasks as assigned to include managing office supplies, printing requests, inventory control, bulk mail accounts, UPS/Fedex online system, purchasing and accounts payable functions within the athletics department. Receives and directs visitors, staff, and students with general information within the department. Assists in managing plane operations, legal correspondence/FOIA requests, meetings, and other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred. Some knowledge of university financial practices/procedures is ideal.
