Scarlet Knight Enterprises, Inc. (SKE) is a New Jersey-based nonprofit that serves as the commercial arm supporting Rutgers Athletics. SKE drives revenue through multimedia rights, corporate sponsorship, NIL facilitation, and fan engagement - working alongside Rutgers Athletics to maximize the impact of one of the most storied programs in college sports.
Position Summary
Graduate Assistant to support brand partnerships, content creation, and game day activations across Rutgers Athletics. This role provides hands-on experience in Big Ten sponsorships, NIL, and integrated marketing. Responsibilities include capturing and reporting Proof of Performance for sponsor activations, supporting game day execution and content planning, creating and managing photo, video, and graphic content, and assisting with website, LinkedIn, and partner recaps. The role also involves researching industry trends and contributing to new partnership ideas. Ideal candidates are graduate students with a strong interest in sports partnerships and content, who are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, including nights and weekends during events. This position offers direct exposure to partnership strategy, activation execution, and content-driven revenue initiatives within Rutgers Athletics. This position is only for credit.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct support to the Director of Creative Brand Partnerships and operational tasks.
• Assist with Proof of Performance capture.
• Support Content Creation for business partners of Rutgers Athletics.
• Help maintain data accuracy in internal systems and Rutgers Athletics and Student Athletes social media accounts.
• Assist in preparing weekly reports, presentations, graphic and video requests, and ideation.
• Support month-end and year-end close with documentation, reconciliations, and cross-functional coordination.
• Draft and organize Proof of Performance.
• Video creation, from storyboarding to final draft following brand guidelines.
• Coordinate with various departments to create content for.
• Serve as a liaison between internal departments to keep cross-functional workstreams moving smoothly.
• Presentations on data and ruslts from Proof of Performance
• Provide support for event or game day operational needs as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, a Creative Field, or a related field preferred but not required.
• 1–3+ years of experience in Creative Content generation, Sports Management, or related experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
• Quick learner who can pick up new systems and support a wide range of content, like Website backend production, LinkedIn/Social Media page management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint especially.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is required. Experience with Camera equipment is preferred.
• Self-starter who can work independently, prioritize effectively, and hit deadlines.
