COMPENSATION: Hourly - $20/hr. ($22/hr. after 6 months, $25/hr. after 1 year)

The Sales Assistant will support the Director of Event Sales and the Tours & Event Sales Coordinator in a variety of sales and marketing functions related to Rose Bowl Stadium’s events and tours. In addition to major sporting and entertainment events, the Stadium hosts a wide range of special events accommodating anywhere from 10 to 19,000 guests. This role will play a key part in assisting the Enterprise Events team by helping to drive business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
-        Event & Tours Program Support
o   All Public Tours
o   UCLA Season Home Games (Times to be announced)
o   Holiday Tours – December 26-28, 2025, and January 2, 2026 
o   Rose Bowl Game – January 1, 2026
o   And other specified weekend dates as specified

-        Tour Program Operations
o   Schedule and book tours as assigned
o   Assist with online sales of Public and VIP tours
o   Manage tour guide relationships, scheduling, communication and onsite supervision that may include weekends.
o   Organize quarterly tour guide training and engagement events.
o   Update tours script and collateral

-        Marketing Support
o   Prepare supporting materials as requested
o   Gather content for various graphic design projects (stadium/golf course signage, event sales collateral, etc.)
o   Maintain enterprise events marketing materials (i.e. brochures, flyers, and social media images)

-        Enterprise Events Sales and Administrative Support
o   Help the sales team with prospecting, proposal creation, and venue layouts
o   Distribute complimentary tickets to Rose Bowl guests; provide onsite event support as needed
o   Manage and update email and mailing lists
o   Assist with event client relations and operations on event days
o   Conduct market research to support strategic sales decisions
o   Catalog event photography as needed
o   Contribute ideas and suggest new initiatives or areas of improvement
o   See the sales process through for offsite parking bookings
o   Support ordering and distributing client gifts

QUALIFICATIONS:
-        Ideal candidate will have an interest in sales and marketing within the events industry with a background in hospitality, communications, or business management.
-        Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, as well as social networking sites such as X, Instagram, and Facebook. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Canva is a plus.
-        Knowledge of CRM databases, Salesforce, and VenueOps a plus but not required
-        Must be a strong writer and a self-starter
-        The opportunity is in-office only. Work from home is not offered for this position.
-        Must be able to work Event/Festival Dates (subject to change):
-        Creative writer a plus 
-        Ability to contribute a minimum of 20 hours a week for at least 6 months
