FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Seasonal; available to work between 3-4 days/week in-person (Hours: 10 AM - 4 PM) for this internship. Dates - May 1, 2026, to January 15, 2027. This timeframe includes weekends and holidays.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Intern will provide support to the overall marketing strategy for the Rose Bowl Stadium in the areas of social media, email communication, content creation, graphic design projects, and major event marketing recaps. 

Job Functions:
·       Assist the Marketing Manager with the implementation, tracking, and measurement of various marketing campaigns including but not limited to social media, email communication, ad placement, event promotion and operational messaging.
·       Assist with creating content for weekly social media campaigns and sales/revenue-supporting materials (decks, brochures, flyers, etc.) 
·       Assist with coordinating videography and photography coverage for major and enterprise events
·       Maintain social media calendar to ensure all promotional efforts are tracked and executed
·       Assist with email communication efforts (quarterly newsletter, partner email promotion, database organization/segmentation, etc.)
·       Assist with day of event photography and event recap video reels
·       Assist the Marketing Manager with managing the Marketing budget and PO purchasing
·       Assist with branded merchandise and holiday gifting
·       Assist the Marketing Manager, Chief Revenue Officer, Senior Director of Communications, Director of Event Sales and other key Rose Bowl Stadium staff on special projects

Proficiency in Use/Application of the following:
·       Social Media Platforms
·       Microsoft Office 365
·       Canva (or other similar design tools)
·       Mailchimp (or other similar email communication platforms)
·       CapCut (or similar editing platforms)

Education and experience:
·       Current College Student, pursuing a business marketing degree is preferred 
·       One to three years of experience in marketing and/or sports entertainment 
 
Licenses and Certifications:
·      Class C driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
