SUMMARY: The Director of Partnerships primary focus is to achieve and exceed partnership revenue targets through the sale of integrated corporate sponsorships.  This position assists in oversight of the day-to-day operation of the Orange Bowl Committee / 2026 CFPNCG Host Committee Partnerships Department including management of sales, fulfillment and seasonal support staff, budgets, revenue reporting and strategic planning. In addition, the Director of Partnerships is responsible for developing, cultivating sponsors and managing all accounts.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Assist in management the day-to-day operation of the Partnerships Department.
  • Develop sales strategies and packages that leverage the assets of the Orange Bowl Committee and 2026 CFPNCG Host Committee including traditional event and program sponsorships as well as hospitality/ticket sponsorship packages. 
  • Achieve department revenue targets.
  • Cultivate new sponsorship business through various prospecting means: cold calling, networking, industry research, etc. 
  • Develop and present customized sales proposals.
  • Manage and grow base of sponsor relationships. 
  • Provide accurate, reliable information for weekly sales reports.
  • Prepare contracts for internal and external review. 
  • Ensure timely payment of all sponsors accounts. 
  • Develop proof of performance reports for clients. 
  • Develop and assist in the execution of any Host Committee sales promotional programs. 
  • Participate in events and meetings as assigned by Sr. Vice President of Partnerships. 
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
 
Management Responsibilities:
  • Development and execute the partnerships sales and fulfillment strategies.
  • Manages Account Executive, department’s staff, interns and volunteers. 
  • Work with the Fulfillment Coordinator and other OBC departments to ensure contracted deliverables are implemented effectively.
  • Train and onboard any support staff.
  • Oversee sales inventory to ensure maximization of revenue assets. 

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university. 
  • A proven and successful track record of 4-6 years of sponsorship or related corporate sales experience.
  • Excellent people skills.  The ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic, and mature manner with corporate executives as well as internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • The ability to generate new and creative sales ideas. 
  • Demonstrated experience with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. 
  • Goal oriented, self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment.  
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
