POSITION: Intern, Bowl Week Content Correspondent (On-site)
DEPARTMENT: Communications
REPORTS TO: Coordinator, Digital Media & Promotions
STATUS: Internship - Unpaid
SUMMARY: This is an exciting opportunity for an individual interested in working in a content capturing and creation role during the Orange Bowl Week. Intern will observe, learn and develop skills necessary to explore career opportunities within a sports organization or a chosen field. Individual may qualify for college credit if allowed by their college/university. This position is an unpaid support internship.
Duration: December 29 thru January 2, 2026
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capture and edit photo/video content during all Orange Bowl festival events, including the Capital One Orange Bowl
- Share content quickly & efficiently during events to be shared on Orange Bowl social media channels
- Fulfill content capture requests and meet all deadlines from Orange Bowl staff
- Quickly upload all content to Orange Bowl photo cloud at the conclusion of all events
- Work closely with other content correspondents during all festival events and the Capital One Orange Bowl game
- Duties are performed on location as assigned
PREREQUISITES
- Portfolio of prior sports content captured/produced
- Must be able to provide own high-quality DSLR or comparable camera and various lenses
- Experience creating attention grabbing, robust social content
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite to create content
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to be able to manage tasks in high energy situations
- A high attention to detail with ability to produce high-quality work with quick turnarounds
- Extremely high level of professionalism working at events and dealing with teams
- Passionate fan of football with knowledge of the game
