Role Summary
The Football & Volunteer Engagement Seasonal Associate will provide hands-on support for volunteer programs, football-related events, and community-facing initiatives. This role assists with planning, preparation, and execution of meetings, events, and game-day operations while supporting logistics and on-site coordination.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with the Volunteer and Football Engagement teams in planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of volunteer meetings and events, football events, and community programs.
· Provide operational and on-site support for volunteer, football, and community engagement events, including meetings, parades, clinics, tournaments, and games.
· Assist with pep rallies, game-day operations, guest services, signage requests, scoreboard management, and event load-in/load-out.
· Assist with pre-event preparation including food and beverage ordering, supplies, signage, raffle items, giveaways, volunteer apparel, training materials, and warehouse runs.
· Provide reliable on-site support for multiple concurrent events, adapting to changing needs in real time
· In addition to the responsibilities outlined, this role requires flexibility to adapt to evolving organizational needs, undertake tasks beyond those listed, and contribute to projects as they arise, ensuring the team’s objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Availability of additional hours during event periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
- Experience with event planning and or working for a nonprofit preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
- Experience with projects requiring attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt, multi-task and work as a team under tight deadlines.
- Ability to effectively perform the listed responsibilities and tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.
