Position Summary

The Manager, Content & Creative is responsible for leading Fiesta Sports Foundation’s social media presence, content strategy and creative execution across all brands, events and initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of sports, entertainment and social impact. You’ll oversee our social media channels, lead the development of compelling digital content, manage our graphic design team and help shape the creative vision of one of Arizona’s premier sports organizations.

We’re looking for a collaborative "player-coach" who understands today’s digital landscape, possesses exceptional creative instincts, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to execute. Whether guiding a multi-platform campaign, capturing behind-the-scenes content at a major event or mentoring designers, you are passionate about creating work that stands out.


Roles & Responsibilities

Lead Our Social Presence

·       Own and execute the Foundation’s social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube with the support of our Social Media Lead Freelancer.

·       Build engaging content calendars that support organizational priorities, events, partnerships and campaigns.

·       Identify emerging trends, platform updates and new opportunities to grow engagement and reach.

·       Develop creative concepts that increase awareness, inspire action and strengthen our brand identity across all channels.

·       Analyze performance metrics and translate insights into optimized, data-driven content strategies.

·       Develop social brand standards and distinctive brand identity on social media channels for viewers to easily identify Foundation content. 


Lead Creative Development

·       Manage, mentor and inspire two Graphic Design Coordinators while fostering a collaborative, solution-oriented creative culture.

·       Provide creative direction and maintain strict quality control across all visual, digital, print and environmental assets.

·       Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints while evolving the Foundation’s visual identity standards.

·       Contribute hands-on graphic design and creative production support during peak periods.

·       Project management for Foundation graphic design needs that includes adherence to timelines and on-time deliverables with staff and vendors.


Create Content That Matters

·       Produce compelling photo, video and graphic content that brings our events and community mission to life.

·       Capture, edit and deliver high-quality, short-form video optimized for modern social platforms.

·       Tell authentic stories that connect fans with our athletes, partners, teachers, students and communities.

·       Partner with photographers, freelancers, agencies and content creators to deliver best-in-class assets.


Bring Events to Life

·       Serve as the lead social media content producer during major Foundation events, managing real-time social coverage before, during and after event days.

·       Produce behind-the-scenes content that elevates the fan experience and maximizes corporate sponsorship activation.


Collaborate Across the Organization

·       Partner cross-functionally with all internal departments to support integrated organizational goals.

·       Collaborate closely with external agency partners, vendors and freelancers from concept through execution.


Qualifications


Required Qualifications

·       A robust professional portfolio demonstrating cross-platform social media campaigns, graphic design and video storytelling (Applications without a portfolio link will not be reviewed).

·       Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media or a related field.

·       4–7 years of professional experience creating digital content within sports, entertainment, media, lifestyle, or corporate brands.

·       Demonstrated experience mentoring, leading or managing creative talent or small design teams.

·       Advanced professional proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software (Premiere Pro and/or After Effects).

·       Familiarity with social analytics, social listening and platform reporting tools

·       Proven experience with hands-on content capture (photography and short-form videography).

·       Exceptional project management, organization and communication skills, with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience developing real-time content for major live sporting events or large-scale entertainment properties.

·       Experience collaborating with influencers, brand ambassadors and external content creators.

·       Working knowledge of AI-powered creative tools and emerging digital technologies.


Working Conditions & Schedule

Due to the nature of the sports and entertainment calendar, this position requires non-traditional hours. Candidates must have the flexibility to work heavy evenings, weekends and select holidays during peak event seasons, as well as the ability to travel locally and occasionally nationally to support Foundation initiatives.
