Position Summary
The Fiesta Sports Foundation is seeking a Director of Marketing & Brand to provide critical support in executing integrated campaigns, brand initiatives, and event activations. This role will report to the VP of Marketing & Brand to bring strategies to life, manage day-to-day campaign needs, and ensure smooth delivery across multiple projects. The Director will drive cross-functional alignment to ensure work is delivered at a high level, on time, and with impact.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, results-driven operator with experience in sports, events, or lifestyle marketing. They thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and bring strong attention to detail, adaptability, and positive energy to everything they do. They don’t just launch campaigns, they see them through to impactful completion, consistently delivering results with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Brand & Market Growth
•        Execute marketing strategies designed to scale the Foundation’s reach, visibility, and overall brand footprint
•        Identify and capitalize on trends within the Arizona and national landscape to ensure ongoing brand relevance and cultural connection
•        Manage marketing playbooks and support execution across website, social, museum, ticketing, and event platforms
•        Ensure brand consistency and quality across all touchpoints, maintaining a premium, cohesive identity across campaigns and channels
•        Support the development and execution of initiatives that grow audience, drive ticket sales, and expand fan engagement
•        Partner with digital and social teams to strengthen the Foundation’s presence and relevance in key cultural and seasonal moments

Campaign Management & Execution
•        Lead the end-to-end execution of integrated marketing campaigns from brief to launch to post-campaign analysis
•        Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure brand and impact are captured to create value for Foundation and its partners
•        Monitor performance metrics and translate data into actionable insights to optimize reach, engagement, and results
•        Partner with creative teams to ensure all deliverables meet a high, consistent brand standard
•        Manage external agencies and internal teams to deliver high-quality work on time and at scale
•        Anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and keep momentum high, ensuring work is delivered seamlessly, on time, and at a premium standard

Digital & Social Growth
•        Support the development and execution of a distinct, best-in-class digital and social identity for the Foundation
•        Partner with digital and content leads to ensure consistent voice, relevance, and engagement across platforms
•        Identify opportunities to insert the brand into cultural moments and trending conversations

Partnership & Revenue Development 
•        Identify, build, and manage key strategic partnerships that drive both brand awareness and direct revenue
•        Collaborate with the Partnerships team to create co-branded opportunities that provide mutual value to the Foundation and its sponsors

Merchandise & Retail Oversight
•        Lead the Foundation’s merchandise strategy as both a revenue driver and a key extension of the brand
•        Oversee end-to-end product development, design, and inventory management to ensure quality, relevance, and profitability
•        Identify and execute strategic partnerships, collaborations, and distribution opportunities (in-venue, airport, retail, e-commerce, etc.) to expand reach
•        Leverage merchandise as a marketing channel, driving visibility, cultural relevance, and fan engagement
•        Continuously identify new opportunities to innovate, grow revenue, and elevate the merchandise offering

Budgeting & Financial Stewardship
•        Build and manage the annual marketing budget in close collaboration with the VP of Marketing
•        Maintain strict fiscal accountability, ensuring all marketing spending is optimized for maximum ROI

Success Profile & Qualifications
•        Experience: 7–10 years of progressive marketing experience, with a proven track record of managing national or large-scale regional brands; experience within sports, live events, media, or related industries (league, team, agency, or brand-side) strongly preferred
•        Budget Savvy: Demonstrated experience in financial planning and managing marketing budgets
•        Partnership Mindset: A "connector" personality with the ability to communicate with and maintain high-value external relationships
•        Analytical Skills: Comfortable using data to prove the success of "impressions" and "footprint" growth
•        Cultural Fit: Passionate about the Foundation’s mission and deeply connected to the Arizona community landscape
•        Leadership: Excellent communication and organizational skills
•        Project Execution: Strong project management skills; ability to keep multiple projects on track
•        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Keynote (or similar), and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com)
