Job Summary:
The Producer position within Clemson Ventures is critical for the success of the organization. The Producer position will creatively tell the stories of Clemson's student-athletes and staff while constantly evaluating, enhancing content and driving implementation of an enterprise brand strategy that focuses on revenue generation and drives growth.

This role reports into Vice President, Content for Clemson Ventures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will have a hand in three buckets: Original Content (Podcasts, Features, Docuseries), Custom Client content with NIL and Clemson brand integration as well as Student-Athlete driven NIL related content through studio space structures.
- Lead creation of branded social media content, including NIL content for in-house sales and talent management staff to drive revenue opportunities.
- Ability to produce original video story-driven content as well as promotional material for social media platforms across all sites, including OTT and OTA applications as well as Clemson owned and operated accounts.
- Assist in producing, directing and/or editing audio content including but not limited to podcasts, talk shows and live stream applications alongside Senior Producer.
- Assist with responding to pre-sale proposals, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic concepts that speak to the desired audience and move the needle for brand partners.
- Assist with maintaining SONY equipment and technology necessary to complete any task or projects.
- Follow pre-production, production and post-production processes, including ideation, scripting, storyboarding, directing, shooting, editing and color correction.
- Have an ability to generate, research and pitch story/content ideas. Determine the content, writing, editing style and storyline narratives for features while overseeing editing to achieve desired story arc and high-end production.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders inside of Ventures and within the Clemson University Athletics Department including writers, designers and social media specialists to ensure that content is integrated across multiple platforms.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including coaches, student-athletes, and staff, to ensure that content is aligned with the department’s messaging and values.
- Assist with overseeing intern staff.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in video production, audio enhancements and recommend new strategies and technologies to enhance overall content production.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, film or a related field.
- Prefer 2+ years experience in similar role or related training.
- Ability to work in team environment.
- Ability to combine strong sense of urgency while fulfilling needs of internal and external stakeholders.
