The primary responsibilities of this position are to contribute to the fiscal year annual fundraising goals of the Chippewa Athletic Fund (CAF) and to build and maintain quality relationships with donors, alumni, head coaches and community members. These goals are met through various annual fundraising initiatives, events and one on one interactions.
Required Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree.
At least one year of experience in sales, fundraising, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
Proven track record of achieving fundraising/sales goals.
Familiarity with CRM Databases
Preferred Qualifications | Experience in fundraising at the collegiate level.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations to ensure institutional compliance with athletics development initiatives.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information.
Duties & Responsibilities | Serves as Chippewa Athletic Fund (CAF) liaison for assigned sports.
Develops and successfully executes fundraising campaigns for assigned programs.
Manages a portfolio of over 120 donors and prospective donors.
Daily solicitation calls and gift processing.
Meets with coaches regularly to set goals and review progress.
Supports donor engagement activities, including events, game days, and stewardship initiatives.
Meets goals for key metrics such as solicitations, gifts secured, phone calls, face-to face visits, and fundraising goals.
Assists in the sale of premium seating (club seats, loge boxes, suites, and courtside seats).
Serves as point of contact for CAF monthly newsletters.
Projects a positive and professional image of the University and the CAF to the public at CAF and athletic events.
Other duties as assigned.
